Remembrance Day 2026 Willett & Co Solicitors

Willett & Co Solicitors Supporting the 2026 Poppy Appeal

Each autumn, millions of people across the United Kingdom wear a poppy as a symbol of remembrance, honouring those who have served and sacrificed in the Armed Forces.

This year, Willett & Co Solicitors is proud to show its support for the Royal British Legion's 2026 Poppy Appeal, recognising the courage, dedication and sacrifices of serving personnel, veterans and their families.

As a mark of respect, we have incorporated a poppy into our firm's logo on our website, alongside the words "We Will Remember Them".

This is our way of joining individuals, businesses and communities across the country in remembering those who have given so much.

Remembering Those Who Served

Remembrance provides an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by generations of service personnel, both past and present.

Two important dates in the 2026 remembrance calendar are:

  • Sunday 8 November 2026 – Remembrance Sunday: A day when communities across the country come together to remember those who have served and lost their lives.

  • Wednesday 11 November 2026 – Armistice Day: Marked by a national two-minute silence at 11am to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

At Willett & Co Solicitors, we recognise the importance of taking time to remember and reflect.

The Importance of the Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion provides vital support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Its work includes practical advice, financial assistance, recovery and rehabilitation support, and helping individuals and families navigate the challenges that can arise during and after military service.

The annual Poppy Appeal helps raise awareness of this important work and encourages people across the country to show their support.

Showing Our Support

At Willett & Co Solicitors, we are marking this year's Poppy Appeal by displaying the remembrance poppy within our website branding.

Although we are not organising a fundraising appeal or collecting donations ourselves, we are pleased to help raise awareness of the Royal British Legion and the important work it undertakes.

Anyone wishing to support the appeal can do so directly through the Royal British Legion's official website.

We Will Remember Them

Remembrance is an opportunity to honour the past, recognise the dedication of those who continue to serve and acknowledge the sacrifices made by Armed Forces families.

From everyone at Willett & Co Solicitors, we join the nation in remembering all those who have served and sacrificed.

We Will Remember Them.
